Dr. James Lee

Dr. James Lee grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and graduated from Loma Linda University in 1992 with the highest clinical award. In 1996, he and his wife Elaine moved to Oregon where they have been raising their three kids. When Dr. Lee isn’t working, you can find him spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, playing golf, cycling, fishing, and doing mission work. He has served as a Dental Director for a mission clinic in Moscow, Russia, and also enjoys visiting Leper Colonies in China with his two daughters.

Dentistry has been a passion of Dr. Lee’s for years and he continues to enjoy his work. To better serve his patients, he continues to learn new skills. He especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and root canals. Dr. Lee and his team at McKenzie Dental Center look forward to serving your dental needs with the highest quality and latest technology.

Dr. Christopher Shakespear

After completing his undergraduate at Brigham Young University, Dr. Shakespear finished his degree at the University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing dentistry for over 13 years. With a passion for dentistry and a commitment to our community, Dr. Shakespear is dedicated to helping patients achieve a happy and healthy smile!

Dr. Shakespear grew up in Salt Lake City in the rural town of Herriman. In his free time, he enjoys working with his Boy Scout troop, running, playing games, camping, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Ioane Ofisa

Hi! Everyone calls me ‘Dr. John.’ I grew up along the shores of the Pacific in beautiful Honolulu, HI. I managed to graduate from Hawaiian Mission Academy in spite of extensive hours spent body surfing at Waimanalo Beach. I met my wife Tara in Eastern Washington, where we graduated from Walla Walla University. I earned my dental degree from Loma Linda University in 2006. My 16+ years of dental experience have mainly been in the Willamette Valley.

My favorite thing about dentistry is forming relationships with my patients and dental teammates. I like to keep the atmosphere lighthearted and fun. I am patient-centered, working hard to help each of my patients reach their goals for dental health and find their “ideal smile.” I believe dentistry can be different from the norm. It doesn’t have to be stuffy, formal, or fear-based. You can enjoy visiting your dentist! I try to bring a bit of Hawaiian hospitality and warmth wherever I go. That means you can even expect a hug from me…If you want one.

When I’m not chairside, I love to cook, play games (ie. Pokemon), and be outdoors with my family and friends. I love adventure, learning, and experiencing new things. I’m experimental and playful. My hair color often changes if my teenage daughter wants to experiment with it. My wonderful wife and I are blessed with two children who make life exciting.
