Springfield Dentist:
Dr. James Lee
Dr. James Lee grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and graduated from Loma Linda University in 1992 with the highest clinical award. In 1996, he and his wife Elaine moved to Oregon, where they have been raising their three children. Outside the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cycling, fishing, and participating in mission work. He has served as dental director for a mission clinic in Moscow, Russia, and has visited leper colonies in China with his daughters.
Dentistry has been Dr. Lee’s passion for many years, and he continues to expand his skills through ongoing education. He especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and root canal therapy. As a trusted provider at McKenzie Dental Center, Dr. Lee is committed to delivering advanced care with a compassionate approach.
Springfield Dentist:
Dr. Christoper Shakespear
Dr. Christopher Shakespear earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and completed his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania. With over 13 years of experience, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a supportive environment.
Originally from the rural town of Herriman near Salt Lake City, Dr. Shakespear values community involvement and connection. In his free time, he enjoys working with his Boy Scout troop, running, camping, playing games, and spending time with his family.
Springfield Dentist:
Dr. Ioane Ofisa
Known by patients as “Dr. John,” Dr. Ioane Ofisa grew up in Honolulu, HI, and graduated from Hawaiian Mission Academy. He attended Walla Walla University, where he met his wife Tara, before earning his dental degree from Loma Linda University in 2006. He has practiced in the Willamette Valley for over 16 years.
Dr. Ofisa values building genuine relationships with patients and creating a welcoming, lighthearted atmosphere. He believes dentistry should be patient-focused, comfortable, and even enjoyable, bringing a touch of Hawaiian hospitality to each visit. Patients may even receive a friendly hug if they want one.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ofisa enjoys cooking, playing games like Pokémon, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. He embraces adventure, loves learning new things, and occasionally experiments with his hair color thanks to his teenage daughter’s creativity.
